The Buschur Racing engines are machined to accept our ultra high
strength custom JE pistons that Buschur Racing has been using since the
release of the Evo X. This is not a new piston design we are praying
works out, it's already proven. The rods are a custom Manley (Made in
USA) rod, which have also been in use since the release of this new
engine platform. The factory crankshaft is balanced along with the rest
of the rotating assembly to ensure smooth high RPM operation.
The 4B11T is a very strong shortblock to begin with and the power and abuse they can withstand is amazing.
Buschur Racing has decided because of the strength and abuse that the factory shortblocks have taken over the last 2 years that the best route to take is to leave the strength of the factory block intact and not machine half of it away to replace the factory cylinders with after market sleeves. Buschur Racing has just not seen any cylinder damage or bore distortion in the 4B11T even under ridiculously abusive conditions.
